The rooms that host the restaurant are part of a 17th century Franciscan monastery and are enriched with the wonderful vaults made of typical stones proceeding from Ragusa. Notoriously, Ragusa and its provinces are proud of the typical food: the P.D.O. olive oil, the caciocavallo (a typical salty DOC cheese), the bread made using durum wheat, the special chocolate of Modica and other typical sweets. Moreover, some of the most distinctive food of Ragusa are: homemade pasta, and the typical scacce. The restaurant is not currently open to hotel guests, but is available for banquets and private events.
